Data controller. Rick Acosta, operating under the brand Álter Weddings (“Álter”), based in Villa de Álvarez, Colima, Mexico, is responsible for the processing of your personal data.
What we collect
When you fill out our booking form we collect: the couple’s names (and, if you share it, the nickname you go by), phone number, email address and details about your event — date, location, venue, church or ceremony place, approximate number of guests, approximate budget, your wedding planner if you have one, and how you found us. We do not collect sensitive data.
Purposes
We use your data only to: (a) respond to your inquiry and follow up; (b) schedule a conversation and, where applicable, a meeting; (c) prepare a photography and film services proposal; and (d) provide the service if you hire us.
Booking a call
If you book a call or an in-person meeting through this site, we record the date and time of your appointment and send you a confirmation and a reminder by email.
Who helps us process your data
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for purposes other than those above. To manage inquiries and appointments we rely on service providers acting on our behalf: a customer-relationship platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector) where your inquiry and appointment are managed, our email provider (Hostinger) and our own server. The booking form is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical browser signals. To communicate with you we may also use WhatsApp and Google (email, Calendar, Meet). Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy.
Analytics & cookies
We measure visits with a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool (Umami) hosted on our own server — aggregate data only, never your identity. This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies; the only cookie it may set is functional. Details in our Cookie Policy.
Your rights (ARCO)
You may Access, Rectify, Cancel your data or Object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at hola@alterweddings.mx.
Retention & security
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes described and apply reasonable measures to protect it.
